PRODUCTS

Versant ODBMS Release 4 - a fourth-generation object database management system that combines direct storage of complex, graph-structured data with language interfaces to and interoperability between today's leading object programming languages, such as C++, Smalltalk and Java. Versant supports native C++ development across major platforms and supports the major Smalltalk dialects from ParcPlace-Digitalk and IBM Smalltalk.

Versant Fault Tolerant Server - an add-on product which provides distributed redundancy in the case of system failure. Versant allows applications to continue operating even when there is a disruption caused by either system or network failure.

Legacy Access - Versant offers a variety of solutions for integrating the Versant ODBMS into existing computing environments. These include tools for providing SQL/ODBC access to Versant; solutions for interoperability between Versant and relational or other data storage; as well as integration with object-oriented class libraries and tools for application-level access to legacy data.

SERVICES

With a focus on deployment, Versant offers consulting for architecture, application design, application coding, training and technical support through Versant consultants, systems integrators, ISVs, VARs and independent object-focused consultants.
